Common Questions

First Class FAQ.

Everything you need to know about starting your Lagree journey at Ritual.

Is Lagree suitable if I have never worked out or done Pilates before?

Yes, absolutely. No previous experience is required. Every movement on the Mini Pro 2 can be adjusted using spring tension, foot placement, and range of motion. Our instructors offer options throughout every exercise so you can safely build strength at your own pace.

How is Lagree different from traditional Pilates?

While both emphasize core strength, form, and alignment, the Lagree Method integrates high-intensity bodybuilding principles, constant muscular tension, and cardiovascular endurance on the Mini Pro 2. It delivers high-intensity muscle stimulation with zero joint impact.

Which class format should I book first?

We recommend starting with Lagree Foundations (45 min). This format introduces machine setup, spring resistance, carriage transitions, and core movements at a supportive, accessible pace before stepping into Full Body Ritual.

What happens if I arrive late to my first session?

For your first visit, arriving 15 minutes early is required so your instructor can walk you through the Mini Pro 2 and ensure your safety. For security and to respect the experience of all clients, studio doors close promptly at class start time, and late arrivals cannot be admitted.

Can I take breaks during class?

Yes, 100%! Lagree creates deep muscular burn and shaking. Taking a breath, grabbing a sip of water, or pausing for a few seconds is always encouraged whenever you need it. Listen to your body—consistency and form always come first.

How often should I practice Lagree each week?

For most clients, 2 to 3 classes per week is the sweet spot. Because Lagree works your slow-twitch muscle fibers to effective fatigue, giving your body 24–48 hours of recovery between sessions yields the strongest results in endurance, posture, and strength.

What is the studio cancellation policy?

We maintain a 12-hour cancellation window. Cancellations made at least 12 hours prior to class will automatically return the class credit to your account for future use.
